yes, that's me.
don't throw darts.
I am 23 years old and have been going to concerts for about 5 years, but only 2 years ago did I actually get a camera to begin taking photos at concerts. In the time since I have been to over 100 concerts, and taken photos at over 50 shows.

I chose the name "Ambros" based on the word ambrotype, a photographic process from the mid-1800s. From Wikipedia: "The ambrotype process (from Greek ambrotos, "immortal") is a photographic process invented in the mid-1850s by Frederick Scott Archer. The process creates a glass negative, which appears as a positive when placed against a black background.... Many ambrotypes were made by unknown photographers."

The ambrotype was a noted form which at points was more popularly used than the daguerrotype, one of the most famous formats of early photography. As it rests in relative obscurity, I thought it was rather appropriate for the nature of myself and my work.

Despite the relative obscurity of my own work, I have been able to meet many musicians in my journey. These include: Lee Dorman and Ron Bushy of Iron Butterfly, cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy, Darren Hayes of Savage Garden, Al Jourgenson of Ministry, Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys, Peter Murphy of Bauhaus, Gavin Hayes of Dredg, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree, and all of the members of The Mars Volta, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Fiery Furnaces, Pitbull Daycare, Sponge, Mute Math, Street Drum Corps, and many more.
